We look forward to shipping your wine promptly and safely
SHIPPING
During most of the year we ship (Monday – Wednesday) 2nd Day Air FedEx to ensure that your wine arrives promptly and in peak condition. Orders placed June through September will be shipped overnight (Monday – Wednesday) with an ice pack as needed to avoid being damaged by heat during shipping. In extreme heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter, we may need to hold your order until it is again safe to ship. Please contact us if you need to make other arrangements. We offer $1 shipping on orders of 12 bottles or more.
ORDER TRACKING
On the day your wine ships, you will receive an automatic email containing tracking information and instructions. If you have difficulty tracking your order after receiving this email, please contact Shafer Vineyards and we will be happy to assist you.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES
Shipping and handling charges are noted during the check-out process. Shafer Vineyards does not make any money from shipping fees. All costs charged to customers are the actual costs.
MULTIPLE DELIVERY ATTEMPTS
If no one at your shipping address is available to receive the package and it cannot be left in a secure location, two subsequent attempts to deliver will typically be made. Unfortunately multiple delivery attempt may result in damage to your wine depending on its exposure to heat or cold.
BENEFITS SHIPPING TO A COMMERCIAL ADDRESS
Wine orders require the signature of an adult over the age of 21. We strongly encourage ship to a business address or to a nearby FedEx store, where your wine will be held at no charge for up to five days.
