Wine Spectator’s New World Wine Experience
The Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas
Oct. 28 – 30, 2010

This year’s event is a dramatic expansion of Wine Spectator’s hugely popular California Wine Experience, featuring top wines from California, Oregon and Washington are joined by their peers from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, Chile and beyond.

Participants will enjoy outstanding vintages, rare wines from the producers' cellars and top-scoring wines from around the world. The event is a joyous celebration of fine wine.

Shafer will be on hand pouring Hillside Select in the Grand Tasting.

30th Annual Auction Napa Valley

Since 1981, members of the Napa Valley Vintners and the Napa Valley community have rallied together to offer, each June, an experience unlike any other. What started as a small event has grown into one of the world’s most renowned wine auctions—with more than 350 wineries and 550 community volunteers now taking par—yet remains true to its goal of raising funds for healthcare, housing and youth services non-profits: Auction Napa Valley has given $90 million in proceeds to date.

Shafer Vineyards will be on hand pouring a variety of wines and offering a stunning-one-of-a-kind lot in the Auction’s live auction.
